A large pub at the top of the High Street. Large car park and garden, kiddy play area. Good food in large portions. The interior is usually unpleasantly smokey.
Although Stroud Morris haven't danced there in recent years, the Star in Market Street (ST756932) would make a good venue. Good beer, minimal food, good ambience and a nice small courtyard for dancing. The ancient cinema opposite might object to loud music!
